⭐ Make Your Own Jewelry Tray or Earring Holder with Gaby: July 10th, 6-8:30pm, Cost: $60
Join us for a creative, hands-on workshop where you'll design and craft your own custom ceramic jewelry tray or earring holder. Whether you're looking for a beautiful place to organize your favorite pieces or a thoughtful handmade gift, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to slow down, get creative, and make something uniquely yours!
During the workshop, Gaby will guide you through the handbuilding process, teaching you how to shape, personalize, and decorate your pieces using beginner-friendly handbuilding techniques.
No pottery experience necessary, all supplies and kiln firing included. Bring your creativity and we'll take care of the rest!
⭐ Make Your Own Garden Marker & Garden Pot with Gaby: July 18th, 11am-1:30pm, Cost: $50
Join us for a relaxing, hands on workshop where you’ll create your own custom ceramic plant pot and garden marker before planting your own herb or vegetable to take home. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just beginning your plant journey, this workshop is a wonderful way to combine creativity with a love for growing something new.
During the workshop, Gaby will guide you through the handbuilding process, teaching you how to shape, personalize, and decorate your ceramic plant pot and garden marker using beginner-friendly techniques.
No pottery experience necessary, all supplies and kiln firing included. Come as you are, enjoya few hours of creativity, and leave inspired with a handmade planter, personalized garden marker, and the start of your very own garden!
⭐ Paint Your Own Pipe or Ashtray at LIT Dispensary: July 18th, 4-5:30pm, Cost: $45
Come and paint your very own pipe or ashtray at Lit Dispensary! Participants will use glazes to decorate their choice of pipe, ashtray, or both (for an extra $15)! Pieces will be brought back to the studio for the firing process, where they will be available for pick up within 3 weeks. New Haven Pottery Studio will email and text participants when they are ready.
Participants must be 21+. Purchase/consumption of marijuana is permitted(encouraged!) on site!
⭐ Making It Official: LLC Basics for Makers & Creatives with Alex Rucinski (Virtual): July 19thth, 10-1pm, Cost: $10
Have an idea you’ve been dreaming about but aren’t sure where to start? Whether you’re selling handmade goods, offering a service, or simply curious about turning your passion into a business, this informational workshop is designed to help you take the first step with confidence.
Led by New Haven Pottery Studio Owner Alexa Rucinski, this beginner-friendly session will break down the basics of starting a business in an easy-to-understand, approachable way. Together, you’ll explore the differences between operating as an LLC and a sole proprietor, discuss why establishing your business early can create opportunities for future growth and tax exemptions, and learn how forming a business can help protect you while building a strong foundation.
This workshop is designed for every day people- you don’t need to have a business already, understand taxes, or know legal terminology to benefit. Whether you’re thinking about selling at markets, opening an online shop, offering workshops, or simply exploring your options, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of where to begin with confidence. ⭐ Dungeons & Dragons Dice Rolling Tower Workshop (2 Part Series): July 24th, 6-9pm & July 31st 6-9pm, $95
Gather your party and prepare for your next adventure by creating your very own ceramic dice rolling tower! Whether you’re a seasoned Dungeon Master, an avid tabletop gamer, or simply love fantasy-inspired projects, this immersive two-part workshop is the perfect way to bring a little magic to your game nights.
During Session I , Alexa will guide you through the handbuiding process as you design and construct your ceramic dice rolling tower. Learn beginner-friendly handbuilding techniques while bringing your fantasy vision to life with mystical castle stone textures, dragon scales, ancient ruins or other magical details inspired by your favorite campaigns. After your tower has been carefully dried and bisque fired by our studio, you’ll return for Session II to glaze your creation. Choose from a variety of glaze colors and finishes to transform your dice rolling tower into a one of a kind masterpiece before it’s final firing.
No pottery experience necessary. This workshop is designed for adventurers of all skill levels! All supplies and kiln firings included.
⭐ Center + Create: Yoga & Pottery Workshop with Peace of Royalty: July 26th, 10-1pm, Cost: $85
Join us for a slow, grounding morning of movement + creativity designed to help you reconnect with yourself through both yoga and clay ✨
The workshop will begin with a beginner yoga flow led by Vernatha from Peace of Royalty 10–11am, focused on mindful movement, breath, and centering the body and mind. After yoga, we’ll transition into the pottery lesson from 11am–1pm where our instructor will guide you through a beginner-friendly wheel throwing experience.
KIDS & TEEN SUMMER CAMP:
⭐ New Haven Pottery Studio Kids + Teen Summer Camp!
Join us this summer for a week of creativity, learning, and hands-on clay fun at New Haven Pottery Studio! Our Kids & Teen Summer Camp is designed to inspire young artists while building confidence, creativity, and new pottery skills in a supportive studio environment.

Session Details:
Kids Handbuilding Camp (Ages 8–12) 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Young artists will explore the world of clay through handbuilding techniques such as pinch pots, coil building, slab construction, sculpting, and creative surface decoration. Campers will complete a variety of projects while learning foundational ceramic skills and expressing their creativity.
Snack & Movement Break: 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Teen Wheel Camp (Ages 12+) 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Teen campers will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering, shaping forms, handbuilding, trimming, and glazing. Whether they're trying the pottery wheel for the first time or looking to build on existing skills, students will receive individualized instruction and plenty of time to practice.
Snack & Movement Break: 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Important Camp Information:
All materials and firing fees are included.
Daily snacks and movement breaks are provided for all campers.
Registration forms and required camp paperwork will be sent to parents/guardians and must be completed and returned prior to the first day of camp.
All pieces made will be ready 2-3 weeks after camp session ends.

Our Services

Try one of our six week classes to learn the full process and make your own pieces to bring home! In our six week classes you will learn how to center the clay, form the walls of the vessel, trim and refine the shape, and lastly how to glaze your finished pieces.
Classes are offered for beginners through advanced students. All classes include up to 25 lbs of clay, and unlimited glazing and firing during the class.
Classes repeat every six weeks and run for 2.5 hours.

One Night Spin is your chance to try wheel throwing pottery in a relaxed and fun environment! Never tried throwing on the pottery wheel? Looking for a fun night out with friends or a new date night idea? Bring your bestie or your beau, a favorite bottle of wine or other libation, and get ready to get those hands dirty.
This is hosted every Friday and Saturday 7-9pm. In this 2 hour class, one of our instructors will guide you through the process of throwing on the wheel. Participants will get to choose two pieces to have glazed and fired by our studio assistants. Pieces will be ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks at the studio.

Want to get creative, but don’t know where to start? Try one of our one day workshops where you will be guided through a project with one of our talented instructors.
Workshops usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. Pieces are either available to take that day, or will be available in 3-4 weeks, depending on the project.

Looking for a more private experience? One on one lessons are available with Alexa Rucinski as scheduling allows. These are great for beginners looking to try get a headstart, or advanced students needing help mastering a specific skill.

We offer a variety of kid workshops for ages 5–16, many of which are seasonally themed throughout the year. These workshops provide a fun, creative, and hands-on experience—perfect for bonding as a family while making a unique piece of art to cherish for years to come.

Taken one of our six week classes and want to continue practicing on your own time? We offer studio memberships for artists ready to branch out on their own. Memberships include your own shelf, unlimited use of studio glazes, unlimited firing on items made in the studio, discounts on workshops, early access to classes, and more!
Interested artists must have taken a six week class at our studio. Once you have taken a six week class, email us to be placed on the Interest List, and you will be emailed as spots open up!
